A great idea but it looks like it is still in Beta
ex.plode.us is a website that claims to provide " the glue between web 2.0 applications" i.e. blogs and social network sites like Tribe.net. In fact, I discovered it in part because it's web crawlers had created a profile of me based in part on my tribe profile and some appearances I have made on other websites-- (and so managed to snatch up profiles of some of my friends here before I had ever heard of explode.) So I decided to claim the profile before someone else did.
The idea of a search engine that aggregates a large number of networking sites into a single profile is one with potential, but the functionality has a lot to be desired. There is no good documentation for the site as of yet and so I have had to figure everything out by trial and error. It is also unlikely to be very useful until more people come along and claim the profiles that the web crawlers have already created.
One thing that is helpful is that as with digg or technorati, you can insert a widget into your blog or other site that can link it back to your profile-- and thus to your profiles on places like tribe.net.
N.B.: It seems other tribe users have found ex.plode.us and don't like the idea: brainstorm.tribe.net/thread/...23c1c9cb
