My Favorite Place For Latte and Hanging Out
A friend of mine first took me there a little over a year ago, and I have already burned through several of their "frequent buyers" cards. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and pool tables too! - John , posted 05/03/07

diesel is the fashhizzlle
i love the red shiny booths and the scholarly old men and the young fashionistas and their ridiculous tight black tapered jeans and perfectly crafted i don't care hair. it has the perfect amount of white noise so that i can open up my laptop and focus on writing a paper on some lame shit i have to write about for school--but i dont reccommend it to anyone cause if anyone else finds out about it i will never get a decent seat and i'll be forced to sit in the dirty bathroom and get an std - Marissa , posted 04/12/07

i love diesel
the owners and employees are great. the food and coffee is good too. the atmosphere is casual, laid back and fun. it's my favorite coffee shop in the boston metro, and i'm thrilled they're opening a new location in union square! - onlineJoanna Artemisia , posted 01/15/07

Diesel Cafe, great meet space
I can't believe Diesel isn't on here yet. It's a great medium sized cafe in Davis Square. There are generally quite a bit of people there (I've never seen the place empty). What makes this place out standing is the design of the community space. This is a great place to go hang out and talk with friends or just people watch. Diesel is highly frequented by the college/young professional's in the area and is a meeting space for lots of the local queer/alternative meet-ups, you're grandmother's cafe it is not (unless you have a hip grandmother!). - Kathe , posted 01/15/07
