Me too
I'm the one that got Kirsa addicted. :) It's fabulous. I find the food prices a little high, good quality, but a little high for the area. But the tea and snacky bits are stupendous, and the ambiance is awesome. - Lakshmi , posted 02/03/06

Ok so I know I've said this before...
Alright alright, so I'm being redundant, but I don't care. I think everyone should know about Cha Fahn in Jamaica Plain, Boston.
I went there again over the weekend and was reminded just how much I love it there! It really is my favorite restaurant.
The Saketeani is simply genius; try if even if you think you don't like sake! The appetizers are always just the right size to make you more excited for dinner and less likely to have a doggie bag (come to think of it I've never had leftovers from cha Fahn and I've never left hungry) There are no words for the meals... just a sigh and a smile.
And don't even get me started on the desserts! I though pear almond torte thing, how flavorful can that be, it'll be nice and light to just finish off the meal... well finish of the meal it did! In a perfect explosion of cool silky pear and warm sweet almond flavors, I had to stop myself from licking the plate! Oh and I have to say, best Chai I have ever had!
The menu is always changing, and always improving. The service is always genuine and calm. We spent 3 solid hours in there. And I think it would have been longer if they hadn't been closing for the night! =)
So if you had a stressful day, or you just need a place to get away, cha Fahn is by far the best little haven to just sit, slow down, and truly enjoy yourself.

Enjoy! - kirsa , posted 01/24/06
