My wife and I are currently seeking a space that is or can be wheelchair accessible, as well as not being a soulless concrete apartment complex. we are both artists and performers, and we run a local band and circus, so we need the space to be conducive to our lifestyle.
our requirements are pretty specific, and our hunt is not going well so far. we want to believe that the right space for us is out there, so please let us know if you are aware of any places that might fit our needs. Condo, loft, live/work artist or semi-industrial space, etc. -- *all* options considered. we know there are wonderful and interesting places out there that we haven't found yet...so please help us find them! :)

we have an urgent need to find a wheelchair-accessible (that means, no stairs for entry -- first floor with ramp or elevator, etc.; wide door frames; studio / open floor plan can be a plus...) ideally we're looking in the greater Cambridge/Somerville/Medford vicinity, but we'll consider the right space no matter where it is...we're desperate for the right space. Occupancy is needed 9/1 or 10/1.
$1500 max, maybe a bit more if heat is included. Obviously, cheaper is better, and mandatory if not including heat. 1-2BR ~1000SF+ Proximity to Red Line a major plus but not a requirement. Reasonable T commute to Kendall required. MUST have 1 BR, 1 BA, kitchen and most common space on main level without stairs. Additional BA, BR, even some common space, *can* be stair-separated. live/work artist or semi-industrial space would be best -- but *ALL* options considered.
