TW-1051 Symbolic Math Technical Writer - Staff - Boston, MA (Loca Candidates Only)
A developer of mathematic modeling and simulation software has several
openings for technical writers in their Natick, MA office.
In this position, you will be responsible for creating and updating user
documentation in the Symbolic Math area in online, PDF, and print formats.
They are looking for a strong team player who enjoys working on complex,
cross-discipline projects.
You will work closely with the Development team to research, plan, write,
and update existing documentation.
Participate with the Development team in the planning, specification, and
testing phases of the products.
Work with the Documentation group and contribute to projects that improve
documentation quality and documentation processes.
Requirements:
o. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science or related field (Required)
o. 2+ years experience as a Technical Writer documenting math-based software (Required)
o. Experience with XML authoring tools (especially Epic) a plus
o. Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts a plus
o. MAPLE programming experience a major plus
