Boston based performance group, Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band & the Madcap Rumpus Society (www.ensmb.com), is recruiting talented artists, craftspeople and tech crew to work on our upcoming spring production. Through our signature blend of live music, theater & circus arts we're creating a land of gears and grime. In our post-apocalyptic world, absurdity is the weapon of a misfit resistance struggling against the conformist forces of a despotic ruler.
We are seeking someone to fill the very important position of Technical Director. The Tech Director will work closely with the Producers & Director to supervise all technical and artistic staff, which includes Stage Crew, Lighting, Set & Costume Design, etc., for our production. Your job will be to assist the creative staff in executing their vision by organizing volunteers at various levels while overseeing and delegating a wide variety of production tasks. This position can also extend into working as Stage Manager for the actual show. Though it would be helpful for both positions to be held by one person, this is subject to your interest in performing that function.

An honorarium based on participation/responsibility level will be dispersed from the profits of the show .
