Every New Year's Eve at Shine we bring in the new year in style, raging on with the best music, comfortable amateur-free environment and the most ragin' party and most incredible and memorable way to bring it in right. This year is no exception, with the top picks of Shine's DJs from 2009. Some of the DJs are in such demand this year, we can't even state here who they are, but they'll be there, rockin' the dance floor! And as usual, Shine isn't gonna' break you with huge cover charge or drink prices this year, nope; It's only $10 to get in before 10, and $10 presale tickets are up at Eventvibe.com! And on top of that, there'll be 2-for-1 well drinks and beers before 10:30, so get there early!

Rockin' the decks with the sweet sounds of House, Electro, REAL Nice Breaks and just a touch of trance & hip hop are the following members of this phenomenal lineup:

DJ Rob Job and DJ Ina (Liftoff Productions)
DJ Voodoo Blu (Imperial Velocity | BASSYX)
MAD SCIENCE! (the BASSYX boys' alter ego, Ace, Gunz & Ammo)
Aaron Pope (Deep End)
Super Mystery Guest DJ 1 (Yep 'yer gonna' love him!)
Super Mystery Guest DJ 2 (You already love 'im!)
Super Mystery Guest DJ 3 (You're gonna' love her too!)

As in the years past, this lineup and this party ROCK! Please bring in the new year with us, as we would love to bring it in with all of you. And as always, this party will definitely sell out, so either get your tickets on Eventvibe now, or plan to get there before 10:00 as we may be sold out by then.

We're bringing a stress - free, intimate vibe to New Year's Eve at Shine, with the best dance music SF has to offer for $10! There'll be no drama, no attitude, and all the good vibes we can muster, as always! Join us, even if it is for just part of your night. All the cool kids will be here:)

BACKUP PLAN: Buy tickets to this event as a backup plan in case you find yourself at some gross or cheesy New Year's Eve party elsewhere (which we all know is usually the case on NYE) or if you find yourself waiting in line to get into some event you don't really want to be at anyway. Wouldn't it be cool to be there with your friends wondering what to do next and be able to say "Hey, I have 4 tickets to this kick-ass party at Shine...". At $10 a piece, this is a no-brainer! Get 'em here:)

See you at Shine!

Marvel at the spectacular forms than ribbon can take! In this workshop, students will use pleated and interlaced grosgrain ribbon to create beautiful French hat decorations called cockades or cocardes. The namesake of the cockscomb, these centuries-old geometric ribbon forms were especially popular during both world wars in the 20th century. They are used as military insignia, award ribbons, shoe bows, jewelry, as well as hat, dress, and home furnishing decorations. In class, Candace will share handouts filled with fascinating motifs: rosettes, fans, wings, pin wheels, sunbursts, and even buzz saws. Students will make samples of basic folds, and lots of variations on the theme.

The 20th Century designers Dior, Poiret, Lanvin, and Boue Soeurs, all used varieties of this versatile rose, a must in your ribbonwork repertoire. Some examples were formed on dome-shaped buckram discs; others were stuffed to give them their namesake “cabochon”. Nicknamed “cabbage rose” or “chou rose”, these domed beauties can be made with continuous ribbon, or many pieces of folded fabric. We’ll make them all!

“Sounding like a sun kissed Brazilian soundtrack from the ‘70s, this tasty afro beat collaboration between two of the genres biggest players has funk horns aplenty and chilled vibes throughout. For fans of Fela Kuti, Gang Starr and everyone in between.” - Dazed & Confused on "El Nino Y El Sol"

Adrian Quesada and Martin Perna, respective bandleaders of famed ensembles Grupo Fantasma and Antibalas, once again unite under the Ocote Soul Sounds banner for their new long player, "Coconut Rock."

The third album released by Ocote Soul Sounds seamlessly entwines the grit and funk of the gridlocked NYC streets, with the voices and rhythms of the dusty lanes of Latin America.

This time around finds the duo loosened up and slipping effortlessly into their trademark psychedelic afro-latin funk groove. From the Latin breakbeat rhythms of album lead-off ‘The Revolt of the Cockroach People’ to the cumbia bounce of ‘Tu Fin, Mi Comienzo’ to the easy guitar soundscapes of ‘Vendendo Saude e Fe’ featuring Brazilian songstress Tita Lima, "Coconut Rock" is the third chapter in Ocote Soul Sounds’ unparalleled journey through sonic realms beyond!

On their 10th studio album, "Sorry For Partyin'," Bowling for Soup prove that no matter what lame new trends may lurk outside their studio walls, they've got the hits, fits, sh*ts and giggles to keep coming out ahead. From side-splittingly funny double entendres to call-and-response jams you'll undoubtedly be hearing in high schools worldwide, the album features some of the funniest, most infectious songs of BFS' 15-year career. Of course, the album also packs some of the strongest, most confident songwriting in BFS' catalog, proving once again that these guys are the masters of their craft.

Let's also remember that THIS is who BFS are: a worldwide phenomenon with a string of hit singles (including 2006's "High School Never Ends" and the 2004 MTV and radio smash "1985) to their credit. A fan-favorite live act whose chemistry is so innate they've never had to prepare a set list. And a TV-and-movie-soundtrack juggernaut whose Emmy-nominated contribution to Disney's "Phineas and Ferb" is literally the most widely heard cartoon theme song on the planet. Quite a step up from the salad days when they were handing out demos in Warped Tour parking lots - even if the motives behind the music have stayed pure since then.

Listen to "Preparations Kids Choir" by Prefuse 73
It’s hard to think of a name that carries as much weight in both hip-hop and avant-rock circles as Prefuse 73, who in the past year alone has been asked to remix TV On The Radio, Pelican, BLK JKS and Cornelius, not to mention his early collaborations with School of Seven Bells and Battles. These interactions have clearly helped to shape the evolving Prefuse 73 sonic aesthetic, which has expanded to include Herren’s twisted visions of prog-rock, “machine funk” and global psychedelia.

"For Everything She Touched Turned Ampexian," Herren rejected the idea of straight digital recording and instead went the much more intensive route of recording to analog Ampex tape, giving the album the sound of a lost tape of exploratory studio musicians from the not-too-distant past. In addition to the recording process, "Ampexian" also differs in its composition, existing as a tapestry of tracks of varying lengths and moods, albeit with a remarkable linear flow and, of course, unmatched rhythmic bump.

"Everything She Touched Turned Ampexian" also marked the beginning of three-album release cycle for Herren, as he released two other efforts in Spring 2009 under his various monikers. He follows "Ampexian" with his newly minted Diamond Watch Wrists (featuring Zach Hill from Hella) "Ice Capped at Both Ends" LP also via Warp in April. Then in May, Herren will follow up with a new Savath and Savalas release, "La Lama," on Stones Throw.

This year Nicky was diagnosed with cancer. The good news? He has had surgery and subsequent radiation treatments, and has been declared cancer-free. The bad news? The experience has left him over $70,000 in debt. Nicky and his family have no medical insurance.

“I couldn’t stand by and watch this destroy Nicky and his family,” said long time friend and fellow guitarist Marke “Jellyroll” Burgstahler. “Many people rallied behind me when my first wife was fighting cancer and they raised enough money for us to schedule an expensive treatment. I had to do something. I know this is a tough time for everyone, but Nicky’s in a bad way.”

“Nicky suggested I approach Joe Satriani about participating in a musical benefit. Joe was all over it – he said yes in a heartbeat.” Joe needs no introduction – he put the instrumental guitar music genre back on the map with his release of “Surfing With The Alien,” and continues to draw new fans with his new project, Chickenfoot. “Joe is a long time friend of Nicky’s, and wanted to help however he could. This got the wheels turning, so I approached other musicians that Nicky and I knew, and it all began to fall into place.”

Danny Chauncey from 38 Special was also on board right away, and suggested I call his old bandmates from Billy Satellite; a very popular Bay Area band from the late 80’s that was signed to Capitol Records. The singer from the band (Monty Byrom) had gone on to tour and record with Eddie Money, and has his own band, Big House, that was signed to MCA Nashville. “Of course I called my brother-in-law (Brad Gillis from Night Ranger), and he offered to play with us (the Alameda All Stars… Gregg Allman’s touring band for 10+ years). Besides performing with all of these folks at one time or another, Nicky also used to play and tour with a local musician and actress by the name of Debra Knox, and she jumped at the chance to help.”

Celebrated progressive rock / cutting-edge metal band Between the Buried and Me (BTBAM) has just released its long-awaited new album "The Great Misdirect." In celebration of the record’s release, BTBAM has announced both fall 2009 and winter 2010 headlining tours.

Merging unparalleled musical bravery, prodigious musicianship, flawless execution and an angular landscape of forward thinking ideas, Between the Buried and Me reinvent the rock 'n roll idiom while pleasing their harshest critics: themselves. Joining metal’s dexterity and progressive rock’s forward-looking action, BTBAM create spine-tingling sound that contains visceral power, labyrinthine arrangement, mind-boggling melody and majestic beauty. Since its inception, the band has proven itself as a progressive rock pacesetter whose modernist clang pegs it as a paradigm to be followed and a yardstick by which other bands are measured.

Luce began in 2000 as a one-man band when Tom Luce began writing songs in his bedroom in the foggy Richmond District of San Francisco. But it wasn't long before his self titled first CD gained immediate attention on Bay Area radio stations such as San Francisco’s KFOG. The album's single, “Good Day” was soon picked up in Hollywood and appeared in movies such as How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and 13 Going On 30, and television shows like The O.C. and Alias. In 2003, Luce earned the band the California Music Award for “Outstanding Debut Album.” And so the band took to the road, and toured the US playing alongside bands like Sixpence, None The Richer and Goo Goo Dolls.

In the early spring of 2005, Luce’s sophomore album, "Never Ending," was unveiled to a packed house filled with eager fans who welcomed the new music with open arms and plenty of excitement. "Never Ending’s" single, “Buy A Dog” found its way onto the USA Network’s Psych and the silver screen’s Frank, The Dog. In the fall of 2007, Luce was awarded “Best Band You Should Know About” by San Francisco Magazine readers.

Despite a stroke of bad luck in which Tom's house burnt to the ground and the band's tour van and trailer with all it's gear were stolen, the band continues to persevere in the face of those crushing setbacks. In 2008, Luce attracted the attention of an exciting new Bay Area based record label, Opus Music Ventures, and at the top of this year, became one of it’s first signing bands. With the powerful force of the young energetic label, Luce now has full service publicity, management, a tour support team and released their much anticipated third album, "Corner of the World," this past spring. It is sure to take the band to new and soaring heights.

"Mr. Hoyle is both a first-rate reporter and actor.”
--New York Times

“Hoyle has a gift for mime and vocal mimicry that recalls solo artists John Leguizamo, Sarah Jones or Lily Tomlin.”
--San Francisco Chronicle

“Hoyle is a remarkable actor capable of transforming his voice and body in an instant."
--Oakland Tribune

The Marsh is proud to announce the world premiere of Dan Hoyle’s new solo show, “The Real Americans”. After traveling the globe for his first play, “Circumnavigator,” and studying Nigerian oil politics for his third, “Tings Dey Happen,” this time Hoyle is back in the United States, turning his eye and ear on America’s culture wars. Fleeing the liberal bubble of San Francisco and his hipster friends, Hoyle spent 100 days traveling through small-town America in search of some tough country wisdom and a way to bridge America’s urban/rural divide. Instead, Hoyle found himself immersed in the populist anger of the people whom Sarah Palin famously described as ‘The Real Americans’ and awed at the disconnect between Obama Nation and Palin Country. Portrayed with humor, sympathy, confusion, angst, and song, this vivid performance challenges the audience to move beyond their bafflement and engage with the future of a politically polarized America.

				WORKSHOP
In the first of three classes, Torah scribe Julie Seltzer, who is writing a complete Torah in the galleries of the Museum as part of the exhibition As it is Written: Project 304, 805, will demonstrate the connections between food and text by combining a personal tour of her scribal workshop with Torah study and a session baking challah in the shape of Hebrew letters.

Before becoming a scribe, or soferet, Julie Seltzer was a baker at the Isabella Friedman Center in Connecticut. Among her culinary achievements was a series of challah breads evoking Hebrew letters, or a theme from the weekly Torah reading.

Seltzer’s other Food for Thought programs include hamentashen cookies on February 23 and matzhas on March 21.

About the Program:
Explore centuries of visual interpretation of Biblical stories with Rachel Brodie, Executive Director of Jewish Milestones.

For most of its history the Torah was “read” primarily through images carved in stone, pieced together from mosaics, and assembled in stained glass. The powerful hold these representations had on the popular imagination continues to impact our understanding of the Bible today. Yet, the role of the artist as interpreter of the text is often overlooked.

In this series, which is presented in conjunction with the exhibition As it is Written: Project 304, 805, we will explore three archetypal stories that have been depicted throughout the ages—Cain’s fratricide, the flood that spared Noah, and the ziggurat of Babel—through the study of texts and the basics of visual literacy. The class will also be “in conversation” with newly commissioned artistic responses to the Book of Genesis as part of As it is Written: Project 304, 805.

Rachel Brodie is a Jewish educator specializing in adult and family education. She is a co-founder and currently serves as the Executive Director of Jewish Milestones. In addition, Rachel teaches Jewish literature, history, and ethics at a wide variety of Bay Area institutions, serves as a scholar-in-residence around the country and facilitates many non-synagogue-based Jewish lifecycle rituals each year. She holds an M.A. in Midrash from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America and a B.A. in Literature and History from Brown University.

Co-presented by Lehrhaus Judaica and Jewish Milestones.

Tierra Negra
http://www.tierranegra.de/main_en.html
Bio: In the world of modern Flamenco, few artists have attained the heights of Tierra Negra. In fact, so influential are these two German guitarists that they're often cited as the protagonists of Flamenco Nuevo, the new wave. Tierra Negra may infuse their sound with elements of folklore, jazz and even pop, but the theme never strays far from the infectious rhythm and melody of Rumba-Flamenco. Leo Henrichs and Raughi Ebert, Tierra Negra's founding duo, have been performing together for over a decade, They have recorded eight albums, are featured on countless international guitar compilations and films. They have undertaken tours that have seen them alight festivals and concerts throughout Europe and North America. There is persuasiveness in the melody - an infectious groove and genuine passion in Tierra Negra's music. A TIERRA NEGRA live concert is a joyous, passionate and transforming experience for the audience - truly not to be missed.

Muriel Anderson
http://www.murielanderson.com
Bio: Widely respected as one of the world’s foremost fingerstyle guitarists and harp-guitarists, Muriel Anderson is the first woman to have won the National Fingerpicking Guitar Championship. She is host of the renowned "Muriel Anderson's ALL STAR GUITAR NIGHT®" and founder of the Music for Life Alliance charity. Muriel Anderson has released eight CD's, four DVD’s and guitar books published by Hal Leonard, Mel Bay, and Zen-On Japan. Her music can be heard in Woody Allen’s film “Vicky Cristina Barcelona.” and her “Heartstrings” recording accompanied the astronauts on the space shuttle Discovery. Touring in the USA and internationally year round, Muriel’s obvious joy of music and facility across musical genres is revered by guitarists and audiences worldwide.

				What is Gnosis? Introductory Talk

"In humans are the seeds of Angels" (Samael Aun Weor)

Learn how to walk the spiritual path alluded to by ancient myths and legends.

In this introductory talk, we will embark upon the quest for hidden knowledge (Gnosis) - a knowledge that each one of us can uncover through mystical practices that have been used by Gnostics throughout the ages to reach peace within, deepen their understanding of life and grow spiritually.
Through these same practices taught in the open today, we can achieve peace, overcome personal obstacles, tap into psychic faculties, and unveil the hidden side of life.

The meaning of life has been alluded to in ancient texts and hinted at in myths and legends… now it is being explained in a practical way so that anyone who is truly searching can find it.

This introductory talk will be followed by our 9-week course "An Introduction to Gnosis", where you will learn about the fundamental keys for walking the Path to enlightenment and how to practically apply them. This course will start on January 11 at 7:30 pm and you can read more about it here: http://www.gnosticawakenings.com/courses

“Life is what we experience inwardly. This is where to look for the starting point of change.”
(The Peace of the Spirit Within by Belzebuub)

In this introductory talk, we will explain about the use of self-knowledge and how to truly know oneself. This, according to ancient spiritual traditions, is the way to acquire true wisdom.

Discover powerful techniques for delving deeply within your own psychology and understand the different behaviors we have - how they affect our relationships, our circumstances and our life. Learn about the amazing potential each person has for change. See for yourself how and where to begin, discover the ability to respond to life and others with greater clarity and intelligence while activating the spiritual part within. Through investigating the causes of suffering, depression, anxiety and all the problems in life, learn about overcoming them and finding the source of true peace and wisdom.

Open the door to change by gaining direct insight into the world of thoughts, feelings and emotions and learn how self-knowledge can lead to profound spiritual experiences.

This introductory talk will be followed by 9-week course Power of Gnostic Meditation (starting on January 7-th at 7:30 pm), where you will get a chance to explore the techniques of self-knowledge in more depth and meet other students and qualified instructors to discuss and explore further the world of psychology and self-knowledge.

An Introduction to Gnosis - 9-week program

There is a secret knowledge spanning from the beginnings of humanity into eternity. Encoded in myths, hidden in scriptures and lying dormant in the depths of time it has remained in obscurity. This knowledge is called Gnosis, a knowledge gained from personal experience rather than belief or academic information.

Throughout history the mysteries of Gnosis have been taught through symbols, parables, myths and legends. In today's modern world, this information has become lost and obscured so that few people can grasp it's true meaning.

The Introduction to Gnosis course presents an introduction to this ancient knowledge and helps you understand its relevance to your own life.

Explore the Gnostic view of awakening, life, death, and karma. Learn about enlightenment, the path of transformation and the fundamental keys required to walk it. You will also get a chance to investigate esoteric practices to explore reality, and to discover what it takes to become a modern-day Gnostic.

Over the 9-weeks you will learn about:

    * The nature of mystical experiences, how to get them and the role of
      the mind in these experiences
    * How to achieve self-knowledge and inner wisdom
    * Why practices are necessary and the key exercises for enlightenment
    * How inner change can change the world
    * The process of death, karma and its esoteric aspect
    * How to understand the ancient spiritual teachings
    * What is enlightenement and where to start
    * Gnosticism, and how to put it to practice

The Class Schedule

The course will run once per week, always on Mondays, at 7:30 PM. Also please try to arrive ten minutes BEFORE the scheduled start time each week, as this will enable us to run the course smoothly and help you to get most from your learning experience.

All our programs and talks are free of charge. Donations are welcome.
The Cafe will be open 30 minutes before and after the event.

Can't make it to the course?

Don't be disheartened. Even though nothing can compare to attending a physical center and meeting like-minded people in person, you can still sign up for the free online courses, where you will be able to study and practice the same techniques in your own time. The online courses provide the study material, weekly video-lectures and practices, as well as interactive forums, where you can discuss with fellow students and have your questions answered by qualified instructors.
You can register and read more about the online courses here: http://www.gnosticawakenings.com/courses

POWER OF GNOSTIC MEDITATION - 9-week program

Spiritual experience comes to those who practice.

This is a begining of the new round of our regular 9-week program, designed to help you experience the huge potential within the timeless teachings of Gnosis.

By practicing some simple exercises, you can change your life in a fundamental way.
Through mindfulness and techniques of self-study, you can be at peace and overcome life’s many obstacles. With astral travel, you can explore another dimension of existence. Meditation allows you to experience higher spiritual states, being free from the stresses of life. And you can tap into latent psychic faculties with special mantras. Week by week, you'll learn all of these techniques, and many more, all geared towards bringing you spirituality in its practical form.

Description

Spirituality in its purest form is the practical means to a happy life. It encompasses everything from psychology and inner change all the way through to the exploration of non-physical realms and mystical experiences.
These things, however, are obscure by and large these days. Most commonly found are various beliefs and doctrines about the spiritual, which contradict each other, instead of providing clear truths. Fortunately, there is a way to personally verify spiritual things and uncover true knowledge. Throughout humankind's history, small groups of people, some would call them mystics, have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of this knowledge. Instead of believing, they practiced special techniques to gain first-hand knowledge of life.
The Power of Gnostic Meditation is a three term course in practical spirituality, following this mystical thread of experience. Each term lasting nine weeks consists of a series of simple techniques to explore spiritual topics on an experiential level. Techniques include:

• meditation for spiritual clarity
• mindfulness and self-observation to explore spiritual peace and one's own psychology
• chanting mantras to experience psychic faculties
• exercises of lucid dreaming and astral projection to explore life beyond the body
• and many others...

By taking the course, students will learn a wide range of techniques, their use, and how to apply them to explore the amazing world of spirituality for themselves.

The Class Schedule

The course will run once per week, always on Thursdays, at 7:30 PM. Also please try to arrive ten minutes BEFORE the scheduled start time each week, as this will enable us to run the course smoothly and help you to get most from your learning experience.

"Loveland is Brilliantly Funny.., Irreverent, hilarious and deeply human... It's a no-brainer. Ann Randolph is a comic genius... SF BAY TIMES

“Not to be missed, Randolph is a rare caliber of solo performer … fully capable of combining the twisted and macabre, the hilariously absurd, and the genuinely heartbreaking in the exact same moment.” SF BAY GUARDIAN

“…the kind of breakthrough dramatic experience one yearns for but rarely gets in modern theatre.” GEORGE HAYMONT, MyCulturalLandscape.com

*********************

The Marsh is excited to announce the premiere of Ann Randolph's new solo show LOVELAND. Join Randolph as she takes us on the irreverent, hilarious and deeply human journey of Franny Potts. Facing up to the greatest loss of her life while flying from LA to Ohio surrounded by strangers, Franny stumbles her way from awkward confusion through the mystery, tragedy and beauty that unite all us.

A stunning performer, Mel Brooks compares Randolph to the late Gilda Radner for her audacious humor, her generosity and her ability to take us from tears to laughter in the same minute. Randolph’s previous solo show, “Squeeze Box,” was the Winner of LA Weekly’s “Best Solo Show” and the Los Angeles Times Ovation Award for “Best Solo Performer.” Its extended run at The Marsh played to sold-out audiences for eight months last year.

Not Your Normal New Year's Eve: A Night of Stand-up Comedy

Thursday, December 31, 10:00pm-12:15am, San Francisco

MORE INFO: http://www.NYNNYE.com

Experience a mind-blowing night of stand-up comedy featuring today's hottest and most groundbreaking comedians: Brent Weinbach, Will Franken, Moshe Kasher, and hosted by Jill Bourque. The show takes place at the grand Herbst Theatre. There will be an exciting midnight countdown and balloon drop.

"Not Your Normal New Year's Eve", the comedy show and 2010 countdown is Thursday, December 31st at 10pm until after midnight. For tickets ($25-40) and information, call 415-392-4400 or visit www.NYNNYE.com. There will be an exciting finale and midnight balloon drop.

Brent Weinbach, Will Franken, and Moshe Kasher are cutting edge comedy artists, each with their own singular styles. All three got their start in San Francisco's eclectic underground comedy scene.

BRENT WEINBACH has been called "obscenely, disturbingly brilliant" by the LA Weekly. The East Bay Express said "Weinbach's comedy is about poaching characters from real life and inhabiting them that you forget who you're watching onstage." He is the winner of the 2007 Andy Kaufman Award, a coveted prize given to "promising performers with the potential to impact the evolving culture of comedy."

WILL FRANKEN was named "Best Comedian" by SF Weekly. Rob Avila at the SF Bay Guardian said "Imagine a surreal-estate agent guiding you through some Escher-like architectural marvel, where each room is it's own deeply funny, satirical dream."

MOSHE KASHER just won the prestigious "Best of the Fest" at the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival. The SF Examiner says he "displays a firey frustration and agile, confident showcase of his neuroses." And Punchline magazine says he "has a powerful comedic voice and amazingly wide range."

JILL BOURQUE has performed her unique style of improvisational stand-up comedy in nightclubs, festivals, and theaters all over the world. The San Francisco Examiner says her "immediate and intimate improv resonates."

This year we are offering a special matinee good for the entire family! This review says it all: "Give thanks for an entertainer who has something to offer all ages. His witty patter reassures the grown-ups that he's a savvy operator while everyone can enjoy his skilled, imaginative juggling, card tricks and confident interplay with the audience.. It's fun, funny, sometimes breathtaking, always entertaining. - if you're looking for entertainment with a spark to it, you won't go far wrong here." - Edinburgh Metro

Open call drummer auditions for YDRS:

We decided to crack it open just to see what happens. This is the big one - ALL are welcome!

On Sunday December 27th come to the location below for a fun easygoing audition. No need to bring your kit, we will have one set up. Bring your favorite sticks. We're going to make a good time of it. Make a little film even. Open to all drummers whether you’ve already applied or not. We will not be making a final decision. We’re simply testing the waters.

I would expect a mostly flowery “Twitter” experience (an adventure you may not get here).

And while we’re at it we should go ahead and spend Valentine’s Day together too.
