THE HOLOTROPIC PERSPECTIVE: Psychedelic origins, indigenous rituals, the human experience of birth, and the sources of spiritual intelligence.

The Belmont Lions Club is housed in the former MBTA train station, a beautiful old stone building in the center of Belmont MA. There is local on-street parking, and it is accessible from the MBTA's Fitchburg-Gardner commuter rail train our of North Station in Boston or Porter Square in Cambridge. It is also accessible via the #74 bus from Harvard Square. Please check www.mbta.com for schedules.

Lenny Gibson, Ph.D., graduated from Williams College and earned two doctorates - from Claremont Graduate School in philosophy and from The University of Texas at Austin in psychology. Lenny has forty years of experience working with non-ordinary states of consciousness. He has taught at The University of Tulsa and Lesley College and served his clinical psychology internship at the Boston, Mass. V.A. Hospital. He currently teaches Transpersonal Psychology at Burlington College. Lenny, along with his wife Elisabeth, is a Holotropic Breathwork™ facilitator offering workshops throughout the New England area, and he serves on the board of the Association of Holotropic Breathwork International (AHBI). A survivor of throat cancer, he facilitates the head and neck cancer support group at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
This lecture is being given in conjunction with a weekend-long Holotropic Breathwork workshop (sep 19-20), but the lecture itself is free and open to the public. For additional information and to register for the workshop, please visit:
