Come celebrate the evening with a Fireworks after party at Dance Friday. This is a special dance with different hours from the usual (10pm-1:30AM) .
After 30 years in Watertown, Dance Friday has moved to a beautiful new home at the Brookline Tai Chi Center on the Green T line in Brookline. The place is wonderful. The dance has a new sound system and lighting effects. It is a great vibe in the place with all that conscious "chi" and sweet decorations.
The dance has been full and getting bigger each week as veteran DF'ers rediscover the dance and newbies join to complement our ranks and expand our community. It is a very exciting time!
This Friday features DJ Andrew the "D" from 10-11, veteran and crowd-fave, Mark Landry from 10-11 and yours truly (Alkemi) from 12-1:30ish (lovin that late nite time slot). I got some outrageous trax for your bumpin, grindin, bouncin, slinkin plezzyur.
So come be part of this new wave of upbeat, conscious fun and expression.
Going to the fireworks and concert? Why not park your car near the Tai Chi Center (1615 Beacon Street) Take the T (right out front of the center) down to Boston (about 25 minutes) check out the shows, head back on the T to the center, dance your buns off and then hop in your car and woosh home (or better still, just take the T all around. However, whatever, what's not to like?! See you there!
