We're breaking the patterns...liberating our spirits...celebrating great things to come... at the second Breakout! Dance Party at the Gallery 119 on Saturday night (1-24-09). I have attached a flyer.
Live art, a 100-second film festival (where 30 filmmakers will project their 100-second films from 8-9:30) and DJ Alkemi, DJ Slam Duncan and DJ Illectro will spin house, techno, funk, dub and many other genres from 10pm-2am. Video Artist Walter Wright will be projecting his awesome work and EF will again create some great live art in the room. After the Film festival, we will fire up the decks and turntables and BREAK OUT! The last one was great and this will be even better.
$5 and you can bring your own refreshments.
